Human takeover
A series of works made for a group exhibition in 2015. The artist group "FUFF" refers to themselves as the glaze generation and the artists dealt with questions revolving the global climate situation from the glaze generations perspective from their respective standing points across Finnmark in North of Norway.
Boaresnieida
Boaresnieida is a rather negatively charged term for an unmarried woman in the traditional Sámi society. The age for becoming a "boaresnieida" has changed according to change and modernization of society, but the artist is still fascinated of the connotations to the word upon herself as a modern Sámi woman. Sara launched a feministic and humoristic exhibition the year she turned 30 in 2014 and titled it "Boaresnieida".
Eat it, alege boakčan
A series of drawings and collages made in 2010-2011. Exhibited in 2011 under the title "Eat it, alege boakčan!" (Eat it, and don´t choke!) The silver/gold buttons in the Sámi belt is more than wearable valuta for a nomadic people. In the North-Sámi tradition from Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino, the shape of the buttons also shows social status. Married people wear square shaped buttons while single/unmarried people wear round buttons.
Šiella
A series of drawings and collages made in 2010-2011. Exhibited in 2011 under the title "Eat it, alege boakčan!" (Eat it, and don´t choke!) Šiella is the Sámi term for a silver amulet that has a protective force against the underworld people and spirits that are present in the Sámi cosmovision. The gietkaboallu/komsekula is a typically shaped šiella that you find hanging on most baby cots or carts around in Sápmi.

Oaivemozit/Madness/Galskap
The exhibition Oaivemozit/Galskap/Madness refers to a madness on many levels. The theme for this exhibition is the ongoing industrial strategies and development for the northern areas, Sápmi - and the systematical neglect of the dramatic consequences of it for the environment and for the Sámi people, their traditional livelihoods and their culture. Coming from a reindeer herding family, Sara reveals that this madness occupies her mind as much as her everyday life. Who is mad? Sara asks. Me? My people who foresee such drastic consequences? Or they who knowingly deny such drastic foreseeings?
